Welcome to ServiceHut! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access and use of the ServiceHut platform, which connects service providers with customers seeking home improvement and other related services. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions
In these Terms, the following definitions apply:
“Platform” refers to the ServiceHut website and any associated services, including mobile applications.
“Service Provider”
refers to any user offering professional services via the platform.
“Customer”
refers to any user seeking or receiving services from a service provider via the platform.
“ServiceHut”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to ServiceHut Ltd, the company that operates the platform.
“You” refers to the user using the platform, whether a service provider or customer.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using ServiceHut, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date, and your continued use of the platform following the posting of changes will mean you accept those changes.
3. Our Services
ServiceHut provides an online platform that connects service providers with customers looking for services such as home repairs, maintenance, and improvements. We act solely as an intermediary and do not provide or guarantee any services directly.
a) For Customers:
You can use ServiceHut to find and hire service providers for various tasks. The relationship between you and the service provider is independent of ServiceHut, and we are not responsible for the services provided by the service provider.
b) For Service Providers:
You can use ServiceHut to offer your services to customers. You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information regarding your qualifications, experience, and the services you offer.
4. User Accounts
To use certain features of our platform, you must create an account. By creating an account, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information during the registration process.
Keep your account information updated.
Be responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and password.
Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
ServiceHut reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for any reason, including but not limited to a violation of these Terms or illegal activity.
5. User Conduct
When using ServiceHut, you agree to:

6. Payment and Fees
a) For Customers:
When you hire a service provider via ServiceHut, you agree to pay the agreed-upon price for their services. ServiceHut is not responsible for the pricing, invoicing, or payment terms between you and the service provider, but may provide a platform for processing payments via third-party providers.
b) For Service Providers:
You may be charged a fee for using ServiceHut, including subscription fees, service fees, or commissions on completed jobs. All fees will be clearly communicated before they are charged. You agree to pay any applicable fees on time and in accordance with the payment terms provided by ServiceHut.
We may use third-party payment processors to facilitate transactions. ServiceHut does not store payment details, and any issues with payment should be directed to the relevant payment processor.
7. Reviews and Feedback
Customers may leave reviews and ratings for service providers after the completion of a service. By submitting a review, you agree that:
Reviews must be honest and reflect your genuine experience.
You will not post defamatory or offensive content.
ServiceHut may moderate, edit, or remove reviews that violate these Terms or are otherwise inappropriate.
Service providers have the right to respond to reviews, but must also follow the same standards of respect and integrity.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
a) No Guarantee of Services:
ServiceHut is a platform for connecting customers and service providers. We do not endorse or guarantee the qualifications, skills, or quality of work of any service provider. All services provided by service providers are done at their own discretion and risk, and customers should perform due diligence when hiring service providers.
b) Platform Availability:
We strive to keep ServiceHut operational, but we do not guarantee that the platform will always be available or that it will be free of errors. Access may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or technical reasons.
c) Limitation of Liability:
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ServiceHut will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
The use or inability to use the platform.
Any disputes between customers and service providers.
The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by service providers.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform will not exceed the amount you have paid to ServiceHut, if any, in the preceding 12 months.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the platform at any time, without notice, for any reason, including a violation of these Terms.
If your account is terminated, you are still responsible for any obligations incurred prior to termination, including unpaid fees or unresolved disputes with other users.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on the ServiceHut platform, including text, graphics, logos, icons, and images, is the intellectual property of ServiceHut or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without our explicit permission.
Service providers retain ownership of the content they upload, but grant ServiceHut a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, and distribute their content on the platform for the purposes of providing the service.
11. Data Protection
ServiceHut takes your privacy seriously. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
12. Dispute Resolution
a) Between Users:
Any disputes between customers and service providers should be resolved between the parties. ServiceHut may assist in resolving disputes but has no obligation to mediate or become involved.
b) Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the platform will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Miscellaneous
Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Entire Agreement:
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any additional terms you agree to, constitute the entire agreement between you and ServiceHut regarding the use of our platform.
Waiver:
Failure by ServiceHut to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
